Hello Polar Parents,

   We are so excited for March, the theme of the month is Under The Sea. We will learn about some of the ocean animals. The children will love making all the crafts we are going to do. We will be reading books and watching some videos about all the ocean creatures. We have some Ocean Magna-Tiles and Ocean animals. The letter of the month is “I.” please help your child learn words that start with the letter “I.” 

We would like to welcome Gemma and Alina from Panda 2 room. 

 We are saying goodbye to Otto who’m is moving to the Brown Bear room it has been such a joy to teach you for the past year.

We encourage families to bring any interesting books to class especially if they match with the theme.

GERMS

Keep students home when they’re sick and let us know why they are absent through ProCare it’s important for us to keep track of any illness in our room. 

– If students have a fever they may return to school 24hrs after symptoms have resolved without medication. If vomiting, it is 48hrs after the last time they vomited,  If students have pink eye, they may be at school IF they have prescribed eyedrops. Please be mindful that a classroom is a shared space and others (including staff) are affected by illness

March 17th– St. Patrick’s Day – wear green ☘️

 Please continue to bring coats in case of random cold days. We’ll send a notification once students do not need to bring them anymore.

 Take blankets home each Friday to be washed.

Water bottles need to be taken home at the end of the day to be washed.
