The tuition you pay is precious to us. It pays for our teacher’s salary, benefits, education, and training; it pays for curriculum, food, classroom supplies, equipment, toys, play sets, and books; it pays for water, electricity, internet, security system, and video surveillances; and it pays for rent, insurances, and taxes… the list goes on, but put them together, it pays for high quality care and education.
About 65% of the tuition you pay goes to our teachers. For the same level of qualification and experiences, we aspire to pay our teachers the highest in the industry in our city, in addition, we provide decent fringe benefits and we invest heavily in our teacher’s education and training.
Sunset Academy invests tens of thousand each year to update the learning environment of the school. When it comes to classroom equipment, playsets, and books, we are not restrained by any budget. In another word, we spend as much as necessary to keep our school at the top of state.
Certain expenses does not go away no matter how many students we enroll. These include mortgage, taxes, insurance, utilities, etc. To some parents who want to save some money by having their children attending our school part time, we just could not offer tuition rates proportional to the number of days attended. We are sorry.
We wish our parents prioritize the quality of care above the price, however, at the end of your search process, you will find our tuition rates very competitive among the schools of similar quality and size.
As you shop for care, we urge to consider quality as well as tuition rates. We are a Colorado Shines Level 4 school, a quality level just about 1 out of 10 school can achieve.
