Cubs Newsletter: October 2022

Dear Cubs Families,

Wow, it’s October already!

This month’s theme is “At the Zoo.”

We will be reading books about animals, making animal art, singing silly zoo songs, and doing simple activities related to our zoo theme.

What is your child’s favorite zoo book? Mine is “Edward the Emu.”

We are trying to go outside while the weather is still nice — not too hot and not too cold — please remember to bring seasonally appropriate clothes and a light jacket.

Please welcome Ada to our class! Her older brother, Axel, was in the Cubs room a couple years ago, and we are so excited to take care of his baby sister!

Happy birthday to Collins on October 10th. She is turning one years old!

Happy birthday to Ms. Katie on October 25th. She is turning more than one years old.

Important Dates:

10/14: Sunset closes at 4:00 for staff meeting and training.

10/31: Trunk or Treat! We invite parents to volunteer to decorate their car for this occasion. You may also bring a costume for your child to wear in celebration. Festivities begin at 3:30.

We hope you have a spooky fun October!
