Cubs Newsletter: May 2024

Happy May cubs families!

We are approaching summer time with that being said we will be starting our day outside! If you drop your kiddo off before 8:00am you will still drop them off in the classroom. If you drop off after you will drop them off out on our playground. We ask that you please bring a light jacket in case its a bit chilly, a sun hat, and for kiddos 6 months and up sunscreen. If you have already brought all of these things great! Our curriculum this month involves introduction to summer and mother’s day! We will be doing lots of activities relating to the monthly theme including art projects, reading books, listening to music, etc. We will of course also be doing developmentally appropriate activities that meet the needs of each individual infant.Take a look at Procare daily lessons to see what your child will be doing each day, we will also be posting pictures as well as using procare assessments to track developmental milestones. Last but not least we will be redoing our family photo wall in our classroom so please bring 1-3 family photos these can include any/all family members.

IMPORTANT DATES:

May 10th: Early closure please arrange for your child to be picked up BEFORE 4:00pm as that is the time our meeting begins.

May 27th: Memorial day: OUR CENTER WILL BE CLOSED

As always if you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to ask. Savannah and I are always available through the procare messaging app and will respond any time of day! You can also contact us through the school by calling the front desk and we will happily answer questions. Or feel free to talk to either of us at pickup or drop off.
