Happy fall koala families! It’s October already?!This month we will be focusing on social emotional and communication. We will be doing daily activities teaching our friends social emotional skills such as gentle touch, sharing and ect.. We will also be teaching our friends communication skills such as telling our friends no thank you, asking for help, asking for more, please and thank you, and ect.. We will also be learning about our emotions and self regulation. Besides all of that we will be doing fall themes art and sensory projects. 
Important dates: October 14th: Our monthly staff meeting (Please arrange for your child to be picked up before 4:00pm)October 31st: Halloween!! You can dress up your child in their costume, we will be doing a parade and party in the afternoon. You can bring in a special treat to share with the class if you would like. We are a no nut facility so please be careful of bringing products containing nuts. (Also I would like to note we will try our best to keep the costumes clean but accidents do happen.) 
As always thank you all so much for putting your trust in us to care for your children. It is a joy being here with them everyday and we are happy to have them in our class.
