Panda 2 Newsletter: May 2021

Dear Panda Two Families,

We would like to wish all of the mothers a very happy Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 9th!!!

Reminders

Sunset Academy will be closing early, at 4:00PM, on Friday, May 14^th for staff training. We ask that you please make arrangements to have your child(ren) picked up prior to 4:00PM on that day, as our staff will not be available after that time.

If you haven’t done so already, please provide at least one family photo for our classroom display, photos of pets and extended family are welcome too.

We kindly ask that you please provide a monthly supply of 200 wipes or more for your child; monthly wipes are due at the beginning of each month. Thank you!

Upcoming Events

Parent-Teacher Conferences: Ms. Becka will be available for parent-teacher conferences on Thursday, May 13^th. A sign-up sheet will be posted in the lobby for your convenience. Twenty-minute appointments are available via Zoom, face-to-face outdoors (weather permitting), or by telephone – please specify which modality you would prefer when signing up. I look forward to speaking with all of you!

Sunscreen

With the summer season fast approaching, it’s time to break out the sunscreen. We will be checking the expiration dates on last year’s supply, and sending out notices for children that are in need of a new bottle. Also, if your child will be arriving to school after 10:00AM in the morning, we ask that you please apply sunscreen to them before dropping them off, and we will reapply it before going outdoors in the afternoon.
