CDPHE is Moving Boulder County to Level Orange

Hello ECE providers and partners,

Please see this press release that just came out. CDPHE is moving Boulder County to Level 3 (now called Orange) effective this Friday, November 6.

What this means for child care:

  1. No change in capacity. You are still approved to operate at your licensed capacity.
  2. As of November 6, you must use the Return to Learn R3 chart to determine exclusion and return to care criteria for those staff or children with one or more symptoms of COVID.  As you can see with this chart, children and staff will need an alternate diagnosis, a negative COVID test result, and be able to wear a mask safely to be able to return to school/care or follow the 10 day home isolation protocol.
  3. Provide these Templates for health care providers to send to school with students or staff following onset of symptoms.

Please see updates to the Dial Order. Here are the main updates:

  • Dial levels no longer have numbers, only colors.
        • Protect Our Neighbors = Green
        • Safer at Home Level 1 = Blue
        • Safer at Home Level 2 = Yellow
        • Safer at Home Level 3 = Orange    This is where Boulder County is now
        • Stay at  Home = Red

Changes from Yellow Level (where we are currently) to the Orange Level (Safer at Home Level 3) on the Dial. Restriction info can be found here.
