Grizzly Newsletter: December 2019

Dear Grizzly Families,

Happy holidays and season’s greetings! We’ve been spending much more time indoors with the cold Colorado weather bearing down on our afternoons. I hope everyone is staying warm!

This month we’ll be talking about how cultures around the world celebrate the end of the year. How does your family celebrate? We’ll also take some time to talk about sportsmanship and cheating. Please take some time to discuss what cheating looks like to your child, and why it’s not so desirable.

The Grizzlies have been hard at work preparing for our Winter Program taking place at the American Legion in Longmont on Wednesday the 11th at 7PM. The kids are ecstatic to show you what they’ve been working on. All are welcome.

Winter break takes place from the 23rd of December to the 3rd of January. Please let us know if we’ll be seeing you or not! Sunset Academy will be closing early at 4PM as usual on the 13th of December for the monthly staff training.

Best wishes,

The Grizzly teachers, Mr. James, Ms. Lucy, and Ms. Sarah.
