Dear Grizzly families,

This November our class will be exploring indigenous cultures in observance of Native American Heritage month. We will investigate the myths, art, music, games, and dance of the people who were here before us, while highlighting the importance of cultural sensitivity. We will also be talking about sportsmanship in the classroom. 

With the holidays fast approaching, make sure your grizzly is warmly dressed as we will make time to play outdoors. Gloves are recommended on particularly cold days and are mandatory on snowy days.

Thanksgiving break will occupy the week of Nov 25-29 so be sure to sign the roster outside the classroom to let us know whether your child will be in attendance. Our holiday program will take place on Wednesday the 11th of December at the American Legion here in Longmont. Feel free to talk to either me or Miss Nina if you’d like to lend a hand in preparation for the festivities.
