Brown Bears Newsletter: November 2023

We’ve made it to November Brown Bears! Holiday season is upon us. We feel that November, in particular, is a month that really honors family, culture, traditions, and loved ones. We are excited for all the wonderful things November has to offer and even more excited that we’ll experience some of it together 🙂
Theme: Family + Culture
We’ll be discussing how family dynamics are unique for everyone. We’ll dive into what family means to us and discuss the people whom we cherish and look up to. We’ll also be discussing traditions/holidays in different cultures (Thanksgiving and Dia de los Muertos in particular) and share what traditions we have in our families.
Letters: E & F

Please prep accordingly!
All students should have snow pants. snow boots, gloves (water proof preferred), a hat, and Winter boots by November 6th (asap). We understand that these items can get expensive so we highly suggest you browse thrift stores!
****Please label all clothing items and shoes with their name! In the case of an item being lost, having a name on it will make it a lot easier to find and/or have it returned.
As a general rule, we cannot take the students outside when it is at or below 32F unless everyone has the right attire. The students’ safety and well-being will always be our top priority and having them protected and warm is part of that! Keep in mind, that we will be playing in the snow so any cloth or knitted items probably won’t do much in the long-run. Thank you!
