Grizzly Newsletter: October 2023


Dear parents,

Happy Fall! We hope you and your families enjoy the beautiful season!!

Important events in October:

· Friday 10/13, the school will be closed at 4pm for our monthly staff meeting. 

· Tuesday 10/31, Halloween Party. The kids can come to school in their costumes and bring in extra clothes for outside play. Please do not take any weapon toys to school.

· Teacher/Parent Conference will be held in November. It is optional. A sign up sheet for the conference will be posted on the door of our classroom. The conference will last 15 – 20 minutes for each family. 

· Fall Picture Day, please pay attention to the Director’s Newsletter for more details.

· Trunk-or-Treat, please pay attention to the Director’s Newsletter for more details.

Language Arts: 
· Uppercase and lowercase letters: Names, beginning sounds, and writing
· Sight Words Level A (55 sight words)
· Recognize and name end punctuation
· Recognize and produce rhyming words
· Concepts of print and comprehension of literary texts
