Dear Parents,
The end of year is drawing near and the holiday season is right around the corner.
I am pleased to welcome Ms. Riya our new Assistant Director. Please be sure to stop by and greet her. We are very happy to have her at Sunset Academy.
We would like to welcome Ms. Nikki and Ms. Viki both in Panda 2 classroom. We welcome Ms. Melissa and Ms. Lindsey both in Koala 1. They will be starting on December 18th. We welcome Ms. Gouli to the Polar classroom. Her first day will be on Thursday, December 7th. We are very excited to have all of you joining the Sunset Academy staff.
Those of you who are planning a vacation the week of Christmas, please look for the attendance sheet outside of each classroom for you to identify whether your child will be in or not so we can staff accordingly.
Sunset will once again be participating in the Longmont Parade of Lights on December 9th. We are asking for donations of White LED Net Lights for our van. If you are able to donate, please drop off the lights at the front desk. If you are interested in having your child ride in the van or you would like to walk with staff during the parade, please let Ms. Nina or Ms. Riya know as soon as possible. We will take first come as seating will be limited in the van.
Please look for your child’s pictures in the cubbies and place your orders.
We will be closed on Monday, December 25th and Monday, January 1st. For those of you who are traveling during the holidays, be safe and have a happy holiday season.
NOTE: Please ensure if any siblings come in with you to pick up your children that they do not bring any food in that contains nuts. We are a Nut-Free school. This is for the safety of the children.
Please be aware of an extra charge that may appear on your statements. This will be for your annual registration as many are coming up soon. If you have any questions regarding this, please see Ms. Nina or Ms. Riya as we are happy to explain.
My door is always open, so do not hesitate to reach out with any questions, concerns or suggestions.
