Our letter of the month is K. We will focus on writing, letter sound, and recognition.  

  We would like to welcome Lorenzo who is moving from Panda 2 classroom. 

As we enter the hotter months, please remember to dress your child in light, breathable clothing, we recommend having a sunhat to keep at school as well. 

Hydration is key, so ensure your child brings a water bottle daily. 

What are insects, and what makes them different from other animals?

How many legs do insects usually have?

What do insects eat?

What are some insects that help us in the garden?

We’ll be discussing these questions & more as we explore our insect unit!

We have many fun activities planned and will discover new facts together as we read books in class! 

Students will have the opportunity to observe the growth cycle of a butterfly! We’ll watch and learn together about what it  means to go through “metamorphosis

We will release the butterflies when they are ready to fly.

You can sign up for any of these classes using the QR codes on the flyers in the front lobby. These programs are a wonderful way for your child to explore new skills, build confidence, and have tons of fun!

REMINDERS & IMPORTANT DATES

June 13th – Early closure pickup before 4PM

June 15th – Father’s Day

– All students need sunscreen on before class. We will reapply it in the afternoon

–  Make sure students have three sets of Summer clothes  in their cubby (including underwear)

We encourage for families to bring any interesting books to class especially if they match with the theme. If you go on any hikes or adventures with the students take pictures to share with the class! Students love having the opportunity to teach and be in the spotlight.

Communication between you as parents and us as teachers is very important. We are here because we love to teach children to grow. If you have anything we should know about your child or concerns please feel free to speak to us at anytime. We have been teaching as a team for 10 years.
