Polar Bears- July 2025

Hello Polar Parents

Our theme for the month is Fun in the Sun.” We have lots of fun beach crafts for the children to do, They are going to have a blast.

Since we have so many young children coming in we are starting back with A for the letter of the month and individualize for the older children.  As always please continue to discover words that start with the letter A with your child.

Dehydration can occur when the body loses more water than it takes in, such as through sweating. When children don’t drink enough water, they could be at risk for dehydration, heat exhaustion For children, water is particularly important because this is the primary way for them to regulate their body temperature. Children must have a water bottle everyday.

We would like to welcome Alexavier, Dominic and soon to be coming Nora from the Panda 2 room.

We have to say goodbye to Evan who is moving to the Brown Bears it has been an amazing journey teaching you. We have enjoyed every moment.

Sickness Policy

Sickness Policy If a student is sick, please keep them home (refer to “How Sick Is Too Sick.”) We want to avoid the spread of illness/disease as much as possible. The classroom toys and furniture are sanitized on a daily basis. Let’s work together to keep our families safe and in good health.

If students have a fever they may return to school 24hrs after symptoms have resolved without medication. If vomiting, it is 48hrs after the last time they vomited,  If students have pink eye, they may be at school IF they have prescribed eyedrops. Please be mindful that a classroom is a shared space and others (including staff) are affected by illness
