January 2026- Polar Bears

Hi Polar Parents Happy New Year 2026 🎊 We hope you had a wonderful holiday with your families.

January is a month of new beginnings

We’re welcoming the New Year by saying welcome to Farrah and Nazareth who will be moving to the Polar room from the Panda 2 room.

In the month of January we will be making winter projects. Staying with our routine we will be doing the Alphabet, shapes, number and colors. The letter of the month will be “G” talk to your child about words that start with the letter “G”. As always daily we will practice tracing and writing our names.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FARRAH

January 1-2-23

As the temperature drops, we will be seeing more friends sick. We kindly ask that you keep your child home if they aren’t feeling or behaving like their usual self and show symptoms of fatigue, cough, sore throat, runny nose or fever. We realize this can be difficult to arrange but it is vital when it comes to keeping children and staff healthy.  If they test positive for anything let us know! It is important we know so we can keep a record of it and can take proper measures to minimize spreading it further! Thank you for your cooperation.

NOTICE: TOYS IN CLASS

Recently, we have experienced many conflicts, distractions, and disorganization in regard to toys brought from home. We have plenty of toys for the students to use here and extras from home are not needed. Up to this point, we had been okay with other toys being brought, but there have been too many instances where they get lost, broken, or taken. We did speak with the students about it so they are aware of the changes and the reasoning behind it. PLEASE DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD BRING TOYS TO SCHOOL.

As always, we encourage for families to bring any interesting books to class especially if they match with the theme. If you go on any hikes or adventures with the students take pictures to share with the class! Students love having the opportunity to teach and be in the spotlight 🙂

Thank you for all your support!
