Happy New Year, Cubs Parents! We hope you all had a memorable year surrounded by loved ones and enjoyed the holidays with your kiddos! We have no clue how 2026 is already here, but we are so excited to make more memories with you and your families!

This month we will be discussing the cold weather and importance of starting a new year on a new note! Our theme will be “Winter Wonderland,” so we will be doing projects and reading books about the season!

As you all know, the Honey Bears classroom will be opening this month and ready for the mobile babies to join! Miss Savannah will be the teacher over there and the following children will be moving with her: Syrus, Sora, Charlotte, Theo, and Alessio. Miss Tabatha will remain the teacher in the Cubs classroom with the remaining students, while also welcoming some new faces to our Sunset family!

A few dates to keep in mind:

Thursday, January 1st – CLOSED ALL DAY FOR NEW YEARS

Friday, January 9th – Early closure at 4PM for monthly staff meeting (Please remember to pick up your child BY 4PM, as this is the time we are supposed to start)

We appreciate all the kindness and support that we have received this past year when in came to maternity leave, classroom changes, and staff shortages. We have loved every moment that we have spent with your children and never take it for granted. If you ever have any questions or concerns regarding your child, please do not hesitate to reach out through ProCare or at pick-up/drop-off. Here’s to 2026!
