Happy July, Sunset families! We hope your summer has been off to a wonderful start. We have a few important reminders and updates to share with you as we head into another fun-filled month!

📅 Holiday Closure

Please remember we will be CLOSED on Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. We hope you enjoy a safe and happy holiday with your loved ones!

🚽 Plumbing Issues & Classroom Closures

We want to sincerely apologize again for the recent plumbing issues and the temporary classroom closures we experienced. After inspection, it was discovered that several toys had made their way into the pipes, causing the blockages. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding!

🌊 Summer Fun & Splash Days

Our classrooms have been loving their summer themes, and Splash Days have been a huge hit! Don’t forget to send your child to school in their swimsuit on scheduled splash days, along with a towel and water-safe shoes. Teachers will continue posting reminders in Procare, so keep an eye out!

🚌 Summer Camp Adventures

Summer Camp has been an absolute blast so far — with awesome field trips, games, and activities keeping our campers busy and smiling! The July calendar is now posted in Procare for you to view at any time when you’re unsure of what’s scheduled for your child’s classroom or camp group.

📲 Procare Sign-Ins

We’ve noticed many families forgetting to sign their child in and out in the Procare app each day. This is not optional — it’s a licensing requirement and an important safety measure. If you’re having difficulty with the app, please let us know so we can assist you. If the issue continues, we may need to schedule a meeting with administration to review our center’s policies and expectations with you.

🕠 Pick-Up Time Reminder

A friendly reminder that all children must be picked up by 5:30 PM. We’ve had several instances of staff having to stay past their scheduled hours due to late pick-ups. Per our policy, there is a $1 per minute late fee for any pick-ups after 5:30 PM.

🎁 Amazon Wishlists & Milk Caps for Moola

Thank you to all the families who have supported our Amazon Wishlists — your generosity means so much to our classrooms! Also, great news — we were able to cash out our first round of Milk Caps for Moola last month! Keep those caps coming; every little bit helps our school.
