I am proud and grateful to serve as the Director of Sunset Academy. I have been part of the early childhood education field since 2005 and have been with Sunset Academy since 2015. I began my journey here as a toddler lead teacher, then moved into the role of Infant Nursery Supervisor, and now serve as Director—a path that has deepened my love for our school and community.

I am a Colorado native and a graduate of Niwot High School. I earned my director qualifications and completed early childhood education coursework through Front Range Community College and the Colorado Shines Professional Development System.

Some of my favorite teaching moments are through reading, music, and art. One of my favorite children’s books is Love You Forever by Robert Munsch. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, and daughter, as well as our dog, Jack Jack.

Sunset Academy truly feels like home to me, and it brings me great joy to support our children, families, and amazing staff each day while helping create a loving, safe foundation for lifelong learning.
