Happy December, Koala Families! 🎄✨

Can you believe we’re already at the end of the year? ✨ We are truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of your child’s journey and to watch them grow into such amazing little humans.

We’re thrilled to kick off this magical month with joyful art projects and cheerful activities for your little ones. Our focus will be on strengthening both fine and gross motor skills while sprinkling in plenty of holiday-themed fun along the way! 🎄✨

As the weather turns colder and the snow begins to fall, we’ll be spending more time cozied up indoors. ❄️ But not to worry, we have lots of festive indoor gross motor activities planned to keep your children active, engaged, and full of holiday cheer all month long. ❤️

We would like to remind all parents to PLEASE check your child’s classroom whiteboard, we use the whiteboards for reminders of what your child needs. Things like diapers, wipes, sunscreen, ect. We will still be giving verbal and ProCare reminders, the boards are just another form of communication. The K2 board is located immediately to the right as you walk in the classroom. The K1 board is located above the sensory bins, near the emergency exit.

Friendly Reminders:

Please check the hanging fabric file folders by the door for any crafts or paperwork to take home.
Please make sure that your kids belongings are being labeled with their FIRST AND LAST NAME.
Please make sure you are taking your child’s blanket home every Friday and bringing it back clean or a new one every Monday.
12/12- Early Closure. Please pick up BEFORE 4pm
Ms. Cristina will be out from Dec 22-Jan 3.
12/23- Class Holiday pajama party. Sign up sheets will be posted outside the class for any friends that would like to bring a special treat for the class!
(Our “party” will consist of us asking parents for permission for a small amount of screen time to watch a Christmas special, having special snacks, and enjoying the rest of our day as normal.)
12/24- Early Closure @ 12 for Christmas Eve
12/25- Closed for the Holiday
12/31- Early Closure @12 for New Years Eve
1/1- Closed for the New Year

Brrr… It’s Getting Chilly! ❄️🧥
As the days are getting colder now, please make sure your child has weather-appropriate clothing for the season. We ask that children come to school dressed warmly and bring a jacket for outdoor play.Please make sure your child has a hat, gloves, and a jacket in their cubbies for outside when weather permits. 🧤🧣It’s a great idea to keep an extra jacket or sweater in their cubby, just in case one gets left at home or forgotten.
