How is it the end of the year already? We have loved every moment and memory that we have made this year! We can’t wait to make more in 2026!
This month we will be focusing on the holidays of Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa! We will be working with your children on projects surrounding the holidays that will be displayed in the classroom and sent home at the end of the month. We will also be reading books discussing the holidays, as well as the importance of family and friends during this time! Since the weather is getting colder, we will no longer be able to take our occasional trips outside, but we will be taking wagon rides around the building when able!
A friendly reminder to check your child’s cubby and ensure that they have weather appropriate clothing for backup. Even though we will not be going outside, please make sure there are jackets, socks, pants, and long sleeve shirts available for any drills that we may have during the winter season.
A few dates:
EVERY FRIDAY – Pajama Day!
Friday, December 12 – Early closure at 4PM (Please arrange for your child to be picked up BY 4PM, as this is the time we are supposed to start our meeting)
Monday, December 15 – First day of Hanukkah
Wednesday, December 24 – Early closure at 12PM for Christmas Eve
Thursday, December 25 – CLOSED ALL DAY
Friday, December 26 – Kwanzaa
Wednesday, December 31 – Early closure at 12PM for New Years Eve
As always, please do not hesitate to reach out via ProCare or at drop-off/pick-up with any questions or concerns you may have regarding your child. We enjoy spending the days with your children and we never take it for granted! Let’s end the year on a great note and close 2025 with amazing memories!
With love,
Ms. Savannah and Ms. Tabatha
