Teddy’s August 2017 Newsletter

As the summer is nearing its end we would like to welcome fall. Here in the Teddy room not a lot changes on our daily routine of eating sleeping and playing and of course changing diapers. Which is why we will be doing more crafts, from hand print leafs to decorate our door, to finger painting apples to celebrate the older kids going back to school! You will notice our creativity displayed all over the walls in our classroom. Please feel free to stop by and take a look at all of our hard work, just don’t forget to remove your shoes as we are busy crawlers and walkers always on the move.

Here are some important days to remember: August- 14-18 is transition week!!! We will be saying “see you later” to our walkers, Ava, Kennedy, and Cruze. They will be moving next door to the Koala 1 room with Ms. Brenda and Ms. Brittney! Although we will be sad to see you go we know you will do great things! We welcome and will be adding Gibson from the Cubs room to our class! As well as a few new friends!

A few reminders… Please make sure that your child’s cubby is stocked with at least 2 extra sets of clothes. We transition to solid food in our room so, please let us know how you would like to proceed with this! We are always happy to let you bring food from home if that is what you are more comfortable with.

Lastly, we will be taking the children outside almost daily, (weather permitting), so please make sure that your child has sunscreen in our room!

If you have any questions, comments  or concerns, please let us know!

Have a wonderful August!
