Dear Parents,

We are pleased to announce that Longmont Premium Childcare Center Sunset Academy has a new owner! Effective as of Friday, March 17, 2017 the business was sold to Eric Kuang of Little Stream, LLC. The name of the center will remain as Sunset Academy, so all tuition checks still need to be payable to Sunset Academy. All of the staff will remain in their current positions with the center.

Attached to this letter you will find a statement on your account reflecting all charges and credits through March 17th. You will have until Friday, March 24th to review your account and notify management of any discrepancies. After this Friday, the new owner will be under no obligation to make any changes to prior discrepancies.

State of Colorado will be in the center on Wednesday, March 22nd to review your child’s files. If management has previously asked for these records and you have not turned in the required documents, please return to Crystal tomorrow, March 21st, 2017. State may choose to disenroll until all paperwork is returned. Please see management with further information and questions.

Now a word from the new owner:

Hi, my name is Eric Kuang, the new owner of Sunset Academy. Although it is hard to step into the shoes of Vikki and maintain Sunset Academy’s reputation as a premium childcare center, I will give the task my very best.

Just a few words about myself: I bring into the picture a very strong background in academics, business management, and child education. I received my PhD degree from Cornell University and MBA degree from Southern Methodist University; I have had over ten years of experience in corporate management and managing my own companies; I have brought up three children who are at various levels of college education in some of the nation’s best universities.

In the next couple of days and weeks, months and years, I will be working with the wonderful staff of Sunset Academy to improve the programs. Our goal is to make this center the very best choice when it comes to childcare and education in the city of Longmont.

We want to take this time to say thank you for your continued support. Sunset Academy has a great group of parents and staff that make this center the best in the Longmont area. We will continue to strive to offer your child the best care and education possible.
