October begins-this year is just flying by. Our Fall Festival will be on Thursday the 30th from 6:30pm-to 8:00 pm.. The teachers set up games in the classrooms and the children can trick or treat in each classroom, playing games. There will be food in the grizzly classroom so you don’t have to worry about feeding them. It is a safe and fun way to trick or treat. Please feel free to bring your family, friends and neighbors. The more the merrier. A donation box will be placed by the front desk for donations of individually wrapped candy and other treats.(please remember that the treats don’t have to be candy. Pencils, bracelets, tattoos, etc. make wonderful donations).
We have been gathering our harvest from the garden and bringing them to the front desk. Please help yourself. It’s free and organic! The children love working in the garden and it ‘s a great way to get them to eat healthy.
We have teamed up with Airborne gymnastics so we can transport children to gymnastics if they have a 4:00pm class and you can pick them up from there. We are hoping this helps parents and they don’t have to leave work early to get their children to gymnastics. Check with Kristy or myself for the necessary forms to authorize transportation to Airborne.
Please check your account. We are billing annual registration fees that will appear on your account. We are going to be adding late fees on accounts that are over due. As per the parent handbook, late fees may be assessed for $50 per week. Please see Kristy or myself if you have any questions or need to set up a payment schedule to avoid weekly late fee’s.
A “Moment In Time” Photographers, Inc. will be here on October 21 and 22nd to take fall portraits of the children. Order forms will be available in the classrooms and at the front desk.
As always, please feel free to come to us with any problem you may have.
Thank you for the opportunity to care for your child.
Ms. Tina, Ms. Carol, Ms. Hali and Ms. Krista

Five senses, dental health, fire safety, grocery store and spiders and bats.
Please watch for many new stem projects that will be included in our lesson plans.
Have a great October!
Dear Panda One Families,
Fall is in the air! The daylight hours are growing shorter, the leaves on the trees are beginning to turn, and the temperatures outdoors are slowly but surely starting to drop.
The weather in Colorado can be unpredictable, and as we begin the transition from summer to fall, we ask that you please provide a set of slightly warmer clothing for your child, in addition to the summertime apparel that is already in your child’s cubby. This includes a long-sleeved shirt, pants, socks, closed-toe shoes, and a light jacket. This will help us to ensure that your child stays comfortable during this seasonal transition. Furthermore, please feel free to remove any remaining Splash Day attire (i.e. swimsuit, water shoes, towel, swim diapers, etc.) from your child’s cubby as we will no longer be hosting Splash Day Fridays this year.
Our classroom will explore the change in seasons this month through themes such as Fall/Autumn and Leaves. Also, October is Fire Safety month! The children will be learning about firefighters, the dangers of fire, and what to do in case of a fire emergency: Stop, Drop, and Roll/Dial 911. Spiders and Bats will become a focus as we approach Halloween.
As always, should you have any questions, comments, or concerns please do not hesitate to speak with one of us!
Until next month… Take care!

Greetings Grizzly Parents and Families,
September brought us autumn and new friends to the Grizzly room. We would like to welcome Yovanni, Paulo, and Caleb to the Grizzly Bears.
October brings cooler weather and with it the need for warmer clothes. Please encourage your kids to bring jackets, hats or sweaters just in case we have a sudden shift to colder weather during the day.
We have a few “No School” and “Early Release” days this month. Please make sure you have snacks and lunches packed for your kiddo on “No School” and “Early Release” days. As we get closer to these days we will place a reminder on the white board outside Grizzly Room where the weekly theme is posted.
This month the themes are:
Dental Health/ Hand Washing
Spiders and Bats
We should have lots of fun with the activities and lessons as our room transforms through the month. We will be sure to have time allotted for reading or school studies, free time fun, and socializing. We look forward to continuing to learn and grow with our Grizzly friends.
*Please Note: We have a peanut and berry allergy in our room, so please pack food items without peanuts for lunches and snacks.
